Study at NMU looking for triathletes and duathletes

Dr. Randy Jensen is looking for folks interested in participating in a study regarding cycling position and running. They will investigate cycling on the stationary bike utilizing different cycling positions. Following the cycling they will monitor skeletal muscle activity, measure lactate accumulation, and video movement patterns during running.  If you compete in triathlons and/or duathlons, this may provided a great opportunity to learn something about your body’s ability to compete at it’s best. However, you do not need to compete to take part in the study. If you want to volunteer as an subject, please get in touch with Dr. Jensen or Greg Daw at the contacts below.

Dr. Randy Jensen: (906-227-1184), rajensen@nmu.edu

Greg Daw: gdaw@nmu.edu
